Fair enough to knock M&S when they're behaving badly, but these are the Secret Support slippers which I buy from M & S and they normally cost between £10 - £12. Not cheap, but not as horrendous as £18!!
Mine last about a year to eighteen months, but I have to confess I go outside into the garden in them - not normally recommended for slippers.
That's why I never pay more than £6 for mine.

And you are right, Anonymous. I've got a posh pair I was given when I retired - soon as these wear out, I'll be back to supermarket slippers.

Whether they cost 12 or 18 doesn't matter. They should last a lot longer than 7 months when only worn indoors whichever price it was.
